The Poshmark Guide for Individuals and Small Businesses -and- The Poshmark Journal for Individuals and Small Businesses are now available. The Guide is a comprehensive look at a small retail business' journey towards expanding with ecommerce and how we ultimately found success with an unorthodox approach: an app that was originally designed for individuals who want to clear out their closets. The Journal is a companion book that includes inventory management and negotiation worksheets to help you manage a Poshmark business.
In today's episode, I also share a simple yet powerful way to manage your inventory using a SKU (stock keeping unit) system with your listings. You can use "style numbers" from tags, identifiers such as barcode numbers, or create your own. I explain why this is small enhancement will save a lot of time as you grow your inventory or if you are a retailer expanding online with Poshmark.
